Guru Studio Brings True and the Rainbow Kingdom to Life in the Nurture App

Toronto, CA (September 24, 2026) – Nurture and Guru Studio are pleased to announce a new partnership to bring the hit series True and the Rainbow Kingdom to the Nurture Life Readiness platform. Available today on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the interactive adventure invites children ages 4-7 to practise essential skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and staying calm under pressure through playful storytelling.

In “Hino Tari Havoc!,” children join True and her best friend Bartleby the cat as they ferry three rare Hino Tari eggs down the Rainbow Kingdom river to reunite them with their mom. When the boat hits a rock and springs a leak, the eggs bounce loose, and the steering wheel breaks. True teaches Bartleby, and the child playing along, to put on their own trouble goggles: a simple way to find and break down one really big problem into the smaller problems. Rather than focusing on speed or a single correct answer, the experience encourages sequencing, follow-through, and staying calm under pressure.

The launch of TRUE on the Nurture platform comes at an exciting time for the brand, following the successful launch of brand-new True and the Rainbow Kingdom Shorts on YouTube, which have quickly surpassed 150 million views in just 30 days.

“This partnership with Nurture gives us an exciting new way to bring True and the Rainbow Kingdom to life, while staying true to the spirit and heart that have made the series so beloved by millions of families around the world,” said Frank Falcone, President and Executive Creative Director of Guru Studio.

“Problem-solving, critical thinking, and staying steady when things go wrong are the skills we hear caregivers worry about most, and there aren’t many engaging ways for a four-year-old to practice them,” said Roger Egan, Co-Founder and CEO of Nurture. “That’s what we built Nurture to do: give kids room to break down something complicated, work through a setback a step at a time, and come out of it trusting their own process.”

“Our adventures build upon engaging storytelling with meaningful interactivity. Kids watch True and Bartleby run into a problem, then they’re the ones who have to break it down and solve it,” explains Nurture Co-Founders and Co-Chief Creative Officers Scott and Julie Stewart, known for creating global preschool shows for Disney and CBeebies, in addition to developing and producing kids’ content for Sesame Workshop, LEGO, and Netflix. “Kids are invited right into the story. Their goal is not to be correct on the first try, but to see the big problem, break it into pieces, and solve each one, the best way to learn.”

The collaboration with Guru Studio follows Nurture’s recent partnerships with brands such as Crayola™, Care Bears™, and Pocoyo.

The True and the Rainbow Kingdom adventure “Hino Tari Havoc!” is available now in the Nurture Kids app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
