We are pleased to share the news today that True and the Rainbow Kingdom, PAW Patrol and Abby Hatcher received a total of 9 Canadian Screen Award Nominations including Best Preschool Series and Best Direction, Animation!

This is True and the Rainbow Kingdom’s first CSA Nomination and we couldn’t be prouder to be recognized by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. A huge congratulations to Harold Harris, Kyran Kelly and Ted Bastien for the Director nominations and to all the amazing artists at Guru who help bring these shows to life.

In addition to Best Preschool Series and Best Direction, both PAW Patrol and Abby Hatcher received nominations for Best Original Music, Animation and PAW Patrol received a further nomination for Best Sound, Animation.

The Canadian Screen Awards nominations were announced today in 141 film, television, and digital media categories by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television (the Canadian Academy).

The Awards will be presented in Toronto over five days during Canadian Screen Week, including the Canadian Screen Awards Broadcast Gala, which airs live on CBC and the CBC Gem streaming service on Sunday, March 29 at 8:00 PM (9:00 PM AT/9:30 PM NT).
