If you would like to pitch an idea to Guru Studio, we’d like to hear from you. We are looking to develop new properties for animation and seek writers and creators with a focus on humour and clever subtext.
What we are looking for:
original ideas for long format series
strong character driven stories
projects for any audience
What we are not looking for:
short films
documentaries
reality shows
game shows
Once you are ready, you will need to include the following information with your submission:
Your Name.
Your Contact Information including your email and phone number. Please also note those of your agent or business manager if you have one.
A brief description about you e.g., who you are, what you do to keep busy and/or make a living, your motivation. (By “brief” we mean between 5-10 sentences. We look forward to getting to know your fascinating self in greater detail if we select your submission.)
A 1-3 page treatment that includes a summary of your show concept and what makes it unique.
Indicate if any creative or financial personnel are attached or if any broadcasters have seen this proposal.
In order for us to accept your submission, you must agree to Guru’s Submission Agreement. This is where you’ll find all that legal stuff that will protect you and us from any potential misunderstandings. You will not be able to submit anything to Guru unless you read and agree to the Submission Agreement.
You must be 18 years of age or older to submit any materials to Guru.
